Varley & Gulliver Ltd has been the UK's premier manufacturer of both steel and aluminium bridge parapets to the civil engineering industry for almost 40 years.
The newly developed AASHTO parapet offers an aesthetically pleasing vehicle restraint system which stands in a class of its own.
Pedestrian barriers are provided to separate people from vehicular traffic. Typical applications for a P4 barrier include footbridges, stairways and ramps where there is a likelihood of a fall from height.
Varley & Gulliver has taken the Passive Resolution into a new era with its anti-climb and environmentally friendly aluminium sign support, "Hi Mast". Following more than two years of development, the company has successfully completed the approval of single and multi-legged designs to EN 12767 at the MIRA test facility in the UK.
